The Tea Party can Destroy the best of them

Gifted hands with an unbelievably ungifted mouth. I don’t even think Palin could have made a statement so unintelligent. One day he is going to wake up and realize that the tea party and Fox news really don’t speak for most of moderate Americans. My respect is gone.

    I wrote about Ben Carson a while back on my blog… when he was fist flirting with foolishness. Beta-amyloid deposits? Jim Crow? Internment of Japanese during WWII? Tuskegee Experiment? Iraq? Vietnam? Yeah, not as bad as trying to give uninsured people health insurance.

    Anyway, I found this quote in the book Fundamentals of Education. You know who the author is… and so does Ben Carson.

    Those teachers in the church or in the school who distinguish themselves by their zeal in politics, should be relieved of their work and responsibilities without delay; for the Lord will not co-operate with them…. Every teacher, minister, or leader in our ranks who is stirred with a desire to ventilate his opinions on political questions, should be converted by a belief in the truth, or give up his work. His influence must tell as a laborer together with God in winning souls to Christ, or his credentials must be taken from him. If he does not change, he will do harm, and only harm. {FE 477.1}

    Going off the deep end.
