So I got back my Comprehensive Clinical Science Examination (CCSE) score and I sucked balls big time on it. It predicted that I would get like a 215 on Step 2, which is not good. Now, I must admit that I really haven’t studied much for Step 2 this year, but it is clear that I really need to work hard over the next 4 weeks to be ready for my test. So here is my plan:
-I will do all the USMLE World questions in 4 weeks which equals out to 88 questions per day AT LEAST. If I can do more, then I will.
– I will read through the remaining chapters of Boards and Wards in 1 week which is about 28 pages a day for 6 days (I am leaving Saturday night open since I never know how I am going to feel that night).
– Reread the whole Boards and Wards book in 2 weeks which is 41 pages a day for 12 days.
– The Sunday before I take the test I plan to go through world questions I got wrong.
I am still contemplating whether its better to do 130 questions of UWorld a day in order to be done in 3 weeks so that I could go over missed questions for a whole week. That might be smarter actually. Either way, the CCSE spooked me and now its time to study hard.
