Today was my LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe that it ended so fast. The past two weeks have been from hell, but I made it. I got about 1 ½ hours of sleep last night, because I had like 3 reports and a test due today. I didn’t think I would get it all done, but everything is turned in. In Organic class, our teacher, Dr. LaiHing actually seemed kind of sad that the class was ending. Instead of teaching, he brought a PowerPoint slide which basically gave us an overview of Biochemistry. That seems like its going to be a really fun class; its much more visual, and I usually end up doing better in classes like those. I really wish that I had the kind of study ethics where I study a little everyday. BK seems to have it down pretty well. I never seem to do that, and I always end up studying it all at the end. I have a pretty good memory, and my logic makes up for what I can’t remember, so I do alright, but in medical school, they give you a butt load of information. I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to use the same study ethic. I know usually what I do, is I make summaries of each chapter, but I wonder whether that will be possible in medical school, with the sheer amount of information given. I have 4 finals next week. My first is on Monday, and its Volleyball. I know I can play volleyball, but I’m not sure I’ll do well if he gives a stupid written test. My next two tests are on Wednesday, and those are Physics and Genetics. My last is on Thursday, and that is Organic Chemistry, and the infamous ACS exam. I might just chill on Saturday night, and start my studying early Sunday morning. I guess I’ll see what happens.
I will not post again until I post that premed post, with a summary of what I’ve learned so far, and how I attacked each class. So look for that. Thank God for Friday.
