Sad

I woke up this morning not happy. We still have classes here at LLU and I have about 27 days until Step 1. I have finals starting this week and I’m stressed, tired, and truly sick of all of this. I know I should be grateful and glad for the opportunity to be in medical school; I know I should see this experience as an opportunity but right now it is just a source of unhappiness. I know 3rd year will have its share of unhappiness, but nothing can be this terrible. The stress seems almost insurmountable at times. I don’t know……

You can do it! Just remember that God will come through for you and will give you the strength and wisdom to get through your finals and your boards. I will pray that the Holy Spirit will come upon you and your wife and that He will bless you both with wisdom, knowledge and peace that surpasses all understanding. You’ll get through this and reach paradise (third year..lol). God bless. (Read James 1, that always pumps me up!). Keep the faith! 🙂

I just prayed for you. I know sometimes it just seems like it’s not worth it. But hang in there. Let nothing steal your joy.

I began coursework for my BSN at UT Houston in September – and since then, I don’t know, maybe it’s a maturation process – but I began to realize how much harder it’d be if I were a med student. I’ve gained a whole new respect for the responsibility you face in school! I touch the hem of what you learn, and yet God will use us both in accordance to His plan, each within our training. I admire your abilities to do it. Congratulations for your endurance so far – it isn’t wasted. My classmates and I are stressed as we head into the summer courses, and as I’ve spent the a very precious day trying to study mass quantities of material without feeling as though anything has made sense, well, it’s hard to do this. God bless you.
