I LOVE the new site!!! Things are much better now. There are still some ways for people to exploit the comment system which I’ve pointed out to Dan; so hopefully he’ll take care of that and everything will be straight again. I’m kind of sad that all the comments that have been left on all my previous posts are gone. That’s a lot of history that is gone, but oh well…I guess those are necessary compromises. Anyway, this past week has been just a whirlwind of activity. Our spring break started last Friday, so my fiancé and I (lol, it feels so weird to say that now) drove up from Huntsville to Maryland. It was about a 11 hour drive but I really wanted to be home, so it didn’t feel that bad. Of course my mother (who is very eccentric and emotional) had a engagement Sabbath dinner for us, and my face hurt from smiling so much. People couldn’t wait to see the DVD I had made of the whole event. It’s basically the same thing that I posted in my last post but it has all the other events that occurred at the banquet. For all those that might be a little confused as to what the video was all about, I’ll give you a little background. Every year my school has a Valentine’s Banquet, and at this banquet they announce the winners for the OC awards which are voted on a couple of weeks before the banquet. I knew I wanted to win the best couple award so I prayed, and it happened, and the time was just perfect. She didn’t expect a thing and I’m am so happy that she was surprised. So yeah, we are still on cloud 9, and have begun the whole wedding planning process. I’ll keep yall posted on everything.
My spring break is almost over and I’m sad. I didn’t accomplish half of the things I wanted to accomplish, but I relaxed which is good. I’m truly getting senioritis at this point and I have to really motivate myself somehow to finish on top. This is the last semester that the med schools will see, so I have to put my best foot forward. I’ll start to post a little more regularly now.
